The 2008 Halloween Special
Posted by richentertainment on October 30th, 2008

This special Creative Studio Halloween Edition is a reading of “The Curse Of The Unholy” by one Karen Denise Page. “The Curse” has a long history. The original tale “Tr…Tr…” was written 8 years ago by me as part of a never publish anthology. It was never published because I kept adding on to the anthology. Last year I decided to write a prequel. This birthed “The Curse Of The Unholy.” And was published as part of last years 2007 Halloween Special. The Special has two editions. The first just the now two part “Tr…Tr…” The second a Special Edition version with a third section containing tributes from the wonderful people in my Myspace community to Jacob a young boy battle cancer.
This year I decide I wanted to do an audio version. The first part, “The Curse” to be performed by woman. I just felt a female touch would be a better ambience. Karen Denise Page blew away the competition with her audition. Did I mention this was a paying gig? The second part was to be performed by me. Well, when I ran the first takes from Karen, I fired me. Lost another pay day. Immediately, I felt her work deserved to stand alone by itself. I only hope my editing did her as much justice as she did my story. Enjoy this special gift from me to you.
Happy Halloween

As a fan of Karen Denise Page I already knew how exquisite and well read she could be, but this reading is so Phenomenal it blew me away. You could feel the story take life with her words and it kept me entralled. Good story and a great read! And this isn’t bias but fact! Smile.

It’s okay to be bias Keith. Karen is a talent both as an actress and a person.
